Band Biographies
Phil Melia |
Phil recorded and toured all over the world with pop group Mojo Filter. He lived in both Tokyo and New York during this time. In the nineties he was signed to EMI records with rap group Ruthless Rap Assassins and again in the same era to Polydor with the group Body and Soul. In the late nineties he returned to his first love, The Beatles, when he joined the Pete Best Band .

Chris Cavanagh |
Chris Cavanagh is the youngest member of the group. During the mid-nineties he toured throughout Europe with British group Made In The UK and recorded with the Bible Code for independent record label Root Of The Music. Chris was approached by Pete’s management company to front the Pete Best Band after a tip-off from younger brother Roag. Chris has been described in world press as a young Paul McCartney.

Dave Deevey |
Dave’s background is pure Beatles. Since the age of fifteen he has toured the world with many Beatle tribute groups.
Dave is the only other member of the Pete Best Band apart from Pete to record at the world famous Abbey Road Studio’s. Dave is the bass player of the band and has always chosen the Hofner violin bass to get that authentic sound.
